Course Overview
This course provides an in-depth exploration of art history, introducing students to the diverse world of artistic expression across different cultures and time periods. Through a comprehensive study of major art movements, styles, and techniques, students will develop a deep understanding of art’s purpose, its evolution, and its impact on society. In addition to studying art history, students will actively participate in artistic endeavors such as creating a still-life composition, decorating their own ancient vessel, and creating a self-portrait. By actively engaging in these artistic activities, students will not only deepen their appreciation for art but also develop their artistic skills, imagination, and creativity.
