Course Overview
This course explores art that is created through the use of new media and technology. It includes a wide range of topics, including the history of media arts as well as how key principles of design are used in web design, photography, audio and video production, and animation. Additional objectives include describing the different phases of a video game design, explaining the history of computer-generated imagery, and identifying safety measures to follow when using the internet.
